People like David Icke, Alex Jones & Peter Joseph have always been someone whom I follow quite closely. These people and their conspiracy theories are truly amazing. I hold my own array of beliefs and I am very subtle with it. I enjoy the documentaries, I read the journals and press releases but I always keep my thoughts to myself as it is quite a revolting topic and I have come across some supposedly very “practical” and “scientifically” sound people who only can use force and volume to win any debate within the first ten seconds. Losers!
One very fascinating theory is the one including the media. The cover up, the derail, the disaster. This to me is not even a theory. I heard about Rupert Murdoch when I was 8! Since then the media moguls always have fascinated me because the only truth we ever get to know to any situation and I mean any situation to which we are alien is through the media. We all get up and we read newspapers. Most of us do. Ok sorry, most of you do. We read a lot of newspapers and we read so many other things, on the way to work we listen to radio, we watch TV every chance we get and every single time we would have learned something more about something new or old and then we take it and live with it. We discuss it, we debate it, and we rely on it. Ever questioned it? And by that I don’t mean having an opinion about what the matter says but have you ever questioned the source? The motive? The reason as to why we should know it? If it is really important? If it is true? And is it necessary?
No! Of course not! We have been reading some publication for long enough that it makes not only absolute sense but pure truth. What it says is what we swear by! Right or wrong is immaterial, it’s just whether the media said it or not.
This brings me to my topic, why am I wasting so much time writing about something which might not reach anyone at all. But I will, I want to try and I somehow have this hunch that someone or maybe many will agree to me.
In Birmingham, UK where I am currently based, there is a big bull made of metal just like the Wall Street bull in the city centre. This is nothing in comparison to the menacing Wall Street bull and looks like a happy, funny and friendly big bull that’s a darling to everyone who walks by. There are thousands of people who take pictures alongside it and I have once got on top of it but I was off my head after a party at the University. Now a couple of weeks back someone just like me was of his head and unlike me did not just cuddle and play with the artificial bull but scratched it a bit. Bloody vandal!
OK, he did it. You have the city council that is meant to fix it. I don’t think anyone would be bothered if a bull which weighs many tons has a slightly scarred bottom. Yes it is an iconic bull but for crying out loud! Patch it up, catch the guy, lamp him, send him home, moan about the expenditure and it’s all sorted.
No this bull made headlines! I am lying if I say headlines as it made the front page! The whole front page was about the bull which had a scratch up its buttocks and the whole city of loonies felt bad for the bull. How many people felt bad for the soldiers who died in Afghanistan? Yeah right I know, “Did someone die?” That’s the question people will ask you. Just a 5 line never to be seen column on page 5 for people who are actually heroes!
I always try and keep up with the news in India and I am pretty good at it I should say. I alerted my parents and brother about the serial bomb blasts in Bangalore. That’s how frequently I update myself. But anything short of a series of bomb blasts will not make the news.
I was watching Star News which happens to be a part of Rupert Murdoch’s Newscorp a couple of days back and the most important piece of news which was repeated again and again and again was that some movie producer got drunk and fondled some woman! Really! Is that news! This is something which most of us would have even seen live! Rich people all over the world abusing everything around them. And then there are channels like Star which nearly the whole of India watches glorifying this news! Yes we have provided food and shelter to all the billion people, sorted the situation with Pakistan, have 100% employment and literacy, no one dies for or against the country, no widespread diseases, no problem at all so that the whole nation can focus on some rogue getting pissed and fondling someone else who did not even have a valid reason to be there! This is media. This is for the people, by the people and this is how we assert out independence and democracy and we voice our rights and concerns!
I was actually unfortunately lucky to have been in India and then come to the UK at the right time when the fiasco between Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty was at its peak! Racism, yeah right! And then there is the media follow up. The media here went crazy over it and hurled ‘such’ abuse at Jade that if I was her then I would have had a sex change, relocated to Cuba and worked as a hooker. And then she was diagnosed with cancer. And who is Jade Goody, she is someone who went on a reality TV show, stripped naked and became someone who got royal respects and prime ministerial condolences on death and in the due course made millions on the pretext of better future for her children which her husband is literally blowing up as of today.
I have nothing against her for being a little opportunistic and we all are. Anyone who says no is lying and not ‘man’ enough to own it up. But literally for months and days even after she passed away the papers and TV and radio were just her. I have counted that since her coverage began that she has sneezed 645 times and this I know because we have the free press who really think this is important. I have nothing against her but a lot of people rather most of the people in this world die of cancer. She did not have a choice either. There are soldiers who have a choice but take the tougher one so that we can be free and report on how Jordan broke up with Peter Andre and the whole nation can cry as it does not have to worry that some bearded terrorist could cause havoc with any flying thing as there is some brainless soldier somewhere in this world who risks and bets his life against it!
I had once watched an Indian news channel and there was some minor bomb blast and the reporter said luckily only 6 people died and thanked god it was not worse. Really? Imagine those 6 people were from your family you freak! Is this how we value life? A celebrity who is only there because of our stupidity and devotion is more important than someone who loses his life in a very scary and unfortunate way!
I can go on and on about how angry and agitated I am with the media today but I don’t see as to why should I as I know most of you would still like to read about the colour of Britney’s bra than the name of someone who is in a way of responsible for you to be free and even alive!
I have made up my mind that if I was ever to be given a choice, instead of putting myself to risk and gaining respect from a very small group of people I would rather be a blond bimbo with a massive rack and I would wear a bright bikini and I can take a punt that I will make more news than the true soldier. His bullet will lose to my bra!
Before I end I want to thank every single soldier everywhere in this world who since my birth has kept me free and alive. If not for you I would not even been able to write this blog today. I feel bad for every single soldier who has died in India, UK, everywhere around the world for the right cause. I also apologise on behalf of the media whom I am pretty sure you would hate more than the Taliban. Respect to everyone who has kept me alive. I thank you.
Can someone let me know if Ekta Kapoor is running Star News as well now? Seems so!
And writing this I forgot that I had put some potatoes in the oven. They would be burnt now, when I open the oven the smoke alarm will kick off, I have no other food left and I will sleep hungry!
Oh for crying out loud! Yet again!

Sex, Fries & Racist Lies!
One thing which is common to the U.K. more than potatoes is sex I guess. I don’t guess I rather know so. And when I say sex it does not mean the actual act always but varied forms and expressions. I have a part time job where a lot of times I take delivery of newspapers early in the morning. Say sometimes 4 AM. And whoever has not done this is better off. It is not the time especially after a long night’s work to be looking at some naked angels who just look untrue. I am not talking about the fake implants but they are such beauties that it’s painful. I will not get into what the pain is all about here in my public blog as I would like to maintain some levels of sanity and sanctity!
Yes there are newspapers like The Times or The Telegraph which are still published for the old man who speaks exquisite English and makes warm gestures. But the problem is such newspapers won’t attract the fancy of someone who speaks explicit English and speaks with fingers of speech. The newspapers like The Sun are ½ a page of news and the rest 79 ½ pages of sex, drugs and celebrity news and the other 40 pages are true football! I am from a country where cricket is a religion, but this is fanaticism. The following is so strong that violence related to the game plagues the cities. So if you wear colors you better be sure you are in the right place at the right time or you will get stabbed! And when I say stabbed I am not exaggerating. The crime is monumental and it is the youth, the drugs and the guns that make it all. I was watching Ross Kemp’s documentary and gang members agree that they need 5 minutes to arrange for a gun! I could not arrange for a cigarette that quick!
I have nearly been here for 2 years now and I can say that it is definitely the next best thing to home. I remember speaking to countless people before actually getting on the plane and my adventurous journey where instead of getting out of Heathrow I nearly boarded another plane and I don’t even have a clue to where. Everyone I spoke to had either been here before or knew about this country and always warned me that I would remain a foreigner. That racism is rampant. That I will be ill treated. This is nothing but bulls**t! Any person in any other country than his own is always a foreigner. It’s not who you are that matters its how you are with people of a totally different culture that makes your surroundings!
I stay in the second largest city to London and I have been in the university, working at a local petrol station part time and I meet hundreds of new people every day. And I can tell that in this long stint of mine all that I have had is great friends, greater colleagues and greatest house mates. I have been invited by elder white women for lunch and dinner as they treat me like a son, I have been out with countless mates and gulped down holy water, have been to games with colleagues, shopping with girls, cooking with housemates, laughing and enjoying every single moment and cherishing the bond. And all this has been along with the fact that I am my own man. I am a complete man. I earn and I spend. How I spend has nothing to do with you!
It’s so stupid that the stereotyping still exists and we always fear what we don’t know. I do have rare problems with communication when I told Heather and Jade to ‘try’ donuts I had got home they heard it as ‘fry’. And the end result was a million more calories and even more taste. I have once offered a woman tampons who had actually asked for toothpaste at work! That was the single most embarrassing time of my life here. I don’t even want to think about it. Thank god she took it well and became friends with me. Wow! What a reason to make someone your friend!
Every day that passes gives me more to think about and reminisce from the previous day. Starting from the gambling with Kate to hilarious long stand up with Simon and Billy, from tasting food Sue got for me to the lovely super filling lunch with Karen, from the endless game nights with a Coleman, Heather & Jade to long visits to Helen, from grocery shopping with Al to text messaging Clair, from smoke chats with Paul to movie nights with University mates, I live every moment for the moment. This has only been possible because of me finding constantly, great people around me who do not let me realize how far away from home I am.
This was necessary. In my blog I had to write about the lovely people around me who have made me happier and given me the confidence which I never had before. There are for sure great people all over the world but this country did actually let me fit in. I am in debt for sure and I will always be. I am an Indian and I will be one for sure but this is surely my second home. I thank everyone whom I have come across in the past 2 years for making my long trip so exiting.
And for all those who read this and don’t find your name here, don’t hold it against me. I am pretty pissed!

Zeitgeist !!!
Over the years I have been very fond of documentary movies. I disagree to people who watch bollywood movies as they are like drugs. They absolutely have no relation to real life and then after 3hours or so you are back in the real world which is even worse. There is no change to the foundation of the story and then there are some fight scenes which would make the Indian Army shy away. Thank god it is a movie.
On the other hand documentaries are mostly about real life and true experiences. They always have a message which makes sense to our daily proceedings. They can be very inspiring and equally entertaining along with being educating. This is the best part as most of the times these attributes are mutually exclusive.
I have over the years collected a very large and rare collection of such movies and I am proud of it. Play these movies to any crowd above 18 and they will love it. They will later have a better image of you. It's more like hypnotics! No, honestly these movies are quite simply addictive.
I have watched from Loose Change to biggie smalls Notorious, from JFK to the new sensation Obama Deception, from Billy Maher's Religulous to ma man's Tupac Resurrection. A lot of people ask me which is the best documentary I have watched ? Honestly you can never answer that question. Every single one of them is a marvel in its own right. Until recently.
The number of seeds in the sub category of documentaries under the category of movies on Mininova usually gives you an idea of the good ones which have been released recently. I was so surprised by one of the movies as it simply had a very large number of seeds which I first assumed was display error. Then it also said that the movie was not released and was free for download and distribution anywhere in the world. This surely had to have made a lot of rich and powerful people unhappy. The epic movie was indeed Zeitgeist!
I soon went to http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ and downloaded both the movies Zeitgeist The Movie & Zeitgeist Addendum. Honestly speaking I have never ever come across anything that's even close to these two movies. It is to do with the corruption of governments and the world's richest fraudsters. Well its quite a rebel thought but the way it has been put together and proved is simply spine tingling! I have seen some great documentaries in the past and then this one.
If you want to really boggle your mind and be left stunned and dazed and forced to think about every single day of your life in the past and coming future then watch this movie. What you decide at the end of it is your choice but I was with the movie and have also joined the Zeitgeist Movement. Anyone who comes across this blog my mistake please watch this movie. Its the quickest to download and the best to watch. Well in my opinion I would say the movie's effect is 'orgasmic'. Oh hold on can I say that on blogs ? Am I politically right ?

Oh For Crying Out Loud!
I have been so tired of networking sites. I would never use the word 'Sick' as there were times when I used to really enjoy it! It was a nice way to keep in touch with a lot of people you realize ever were with you in some part of your life only after finding them there and a lot or Q&A 's! I am not trying to be rude but I no more see the point of how they playing some song at so many decibels is going to be of any difference in my messed up life! Or the fact of someone having some heartache because of someone else who lost their earring! I cant even contemplate the motive behind such posts! And then in the world of online chatting comes the notorious "status messages"! If you are 'available' I might disturb you, if you are 'busy' I might respect it or if you are 'away' I might swear at you sometimes! I really don't need to know that you are eating bacon or bread for breakfast. I mean it is as stupid as the 'falling rocks' sign on motorways! What am I supposed to do? Its your life and its all that you have! Why do you have to go broadcasting! Why don't you rather tattoo your forehead "DORK". Go through anyone's wall or scrapbook. The most common expression you will find is 'long time'. This is because of the number of friends who would have accumulated in your list and many against your will. And then honestly you can't keep up. Its not whether you are free or busy it is simple that you can't keep up! I would rather watch TV along with a pint of bitter than tell someone else for the n'th time that yes I did study at that same school you are referring to! And by the time that person again remembers me my son or daughter would have hopefully finished their education. I have heard that Hailey's comet is more frequent than a few contacts on my list! And I would never commit the mistake of blaming anyone cause I am equally bad if not worse! So in order to put an end to the blame game and the unwanted question answering and the ever increasing laziness of mine I have finally decided to get out of facebook, orkut, twitter, the whole lot. It sounds funny but I have already initiated the process of destruction and have transferred rights to a couple of communities I owned to others. For me now networking is like a commitment I can never commit to and because of my delayed response sometimes someone wants to hurl an abuse at me rather than say 'hi' and then I have to think of some wacky reason as to why I had not replied to some scrap of theirs 2 years 6 months 23 days back! How the hell do I know? I don't know what happened 2 hours 6 minutes 23 seconds back! Oh yes my reason giving sucks big time! It usually leaves the person who was angry on me with major criminal intentions! I once told someone that I was enjoying sunshine in Portugal ( you are damn right I was lying ) but to only realize that the same person was just a couple of computers away in the same computer cluster I was in at the university. She looked at me and I knew I broke her heart not because she fancied me but I was caught lying and I knew she wanted to break my teeth! Luckily all that she said was a couple of words and I can't very well remember what it was! So there it goes again. I have decided to opt out of networking websites as it is simply not for me and I wont force myself into something I can't do. I do love myself sometimes. But just to keep my e-social life kicking I decided to start a new blog. My old blog would rather stay private!! But after my first post I think this is going to be even more difficult!
